Resources in Alabama
Name of Establishment:    The Original Oyster House
Type of establishment:    A local chain
Items Carried:    salad bar
fries
applesauce (served with all kids meals)
coleslaw (haven't quizzed them on the ingredients, the above items have always been enough for our daughter with PKU)
Comments: It is pretty hard to find a fried seafood place that is PKU-friendly,
but this one has worked for us.  If you are traveling on I-10 through Mobile, it
is an easy stop, too.  You can access the Causeway from the I-10 bridge over
Mobile Bay.  There is a location at the beach in Gulf Shores, too.  We have not
been there, but I think the menus are similar.

Location: 3733 Battleship Parkway (aka "the Causeway)
               Mobile, AL
Phone: 251-626-2188
