At the time Olga was born, none of the doctors in our little hometown in Southern Ukraine new about PKU, therefore my mom did not get a chance to discover that Olga has PKU until my brother, Nicholay (Nick) was born in 1982 (Olga was almost 6 years old at that time).
Neither Olga (born in 1976) or Nick (born 1982) are on the diet. My mother has very-very hard time with them.
Could somebody please refer her to any nearby PKU parent support group and cheer her up and give her support in putting both Olga and Nick back to diet.
